Well, here we are, Decemberer 1, 2008. It's time to start your Advent Calendars. I made mine last year and can't wait to fight with Joey and Steph over who's turn it is to eat the candy everyday this year, hehehe. Although they have no respect for the game and sneak candy out of the dates not here yet. So I have to replace candy all month :)
Here it is I love it....
I also love making them, so this year I made 3 more for gifts. Melissa taught a class at her house on them with Close To My Heart product and I whipped two out that night and then made another at the LSS one Friday night.
I made two of these.....
And here is the last one I made......
So thats all for now.....Night.....M.E.

I know I am bumming you out. According to the numerous emails I have received expressing concern for my infrequent presents here, I guess it is true, you really love me and miss me when I'm not around. hehehe
In short, No, I have not replaced my blog with a new one, I just have not been in a blogging mood lately. I am not quitting..... yet, I just think I have to cut back a bit. Blogging for me manifests itself in to a whole bunch of different things. Sometimes it's an obsession, sometimes it's a total joy and creative outlet and sometimes it is just a chore. Not to mention Typepad is so un-user friendly these days, that right now it feels like its a chore more often than not. But like I said, I am not ready to quit yet, So I think, what I am going to do, is to commit to one day a week for now. I"m not sure what day but I will figure that out asasp.
In the mean time I 'll catch you up bit. First of all I should tell you all that I spend most of my online time these days reading and commenting on other blogs and interacting on Facebook. I post all my pictures to facebook and hang out with my friend there. You see facebook is so much more interactive than blogging. People talk back to me there and I can talk and comment to them regarding their online activity. Sometime blogging can be lonley. Just talking out into the nothing, you know? So come on over and join me while I Facebook.
Moving along....big news from Steph. The Somerville Cheerleaders qualified for a National Bid last weekend at the State competition. Which means They'll be going to Orlando Fl sometime in Feb/March to compete. They are also Regional champs this year and most importantly my girl is an honor roll student. I am so proud I could burst. She is very busy with cheering, volunteering and hanging out with her girlfriends. She has taken a PSAT and planning SATs. she is looking in to colleges all over the country trying to figure out everything that goes with that. She is so focused and very organized in that department. she is leaning toward nursing school (in the "masters" sense of the word hehehe) But if Auntie Jess has anything to say about I would'nt be surprised if I have a little med student someday.
Here's the girl in all her glory....(she is in the top right of the frame)

In other Family news we had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my sister Melissa's house. We brought a 23 Pound Turkey over....
and were joined by Justin, Gabby and my Mother in law, Edie.
Along with Fred's Sister Andrea and her kids.
It was Kylie's First Thanksgiving.....
And Yes she is walking and getting around quite well on her own hehehe.
here is a favorite from the day I took of Steph and Joey....
and Paige helped me make the chocolate cream pie....after all, it is our all time favorite thing..traditionally we are the "chocolate cream pie girls".....
So I guess that will have to be all for now....so until I can get back to you, enjoy the rest of your Holiday weekend. I'll be attending the SHS Craft fair with The Sweetpea today. She'll be painting faces there today from 1:00 to 3:00pm
See you peeps.......M.E.

Of all the things I have read and heard today Becker sums it up best for me.
I Quote......
"I don't think it's a big surprise to anyone watching the polls of late, but congratulations are in order to President-Elect Barack Obama. He won a decided victory after almost two years of campaigning. The people of this country have spoken, and I am just glad it was a clear and decisive victory, and this time, there won't be tons of court battles trying to figure out what to do with the hanging chads. I am also encourage by how many people got out and actually voted. It is usually so sad how apathetic people have been in last elections, taking our right to vote for granted and no caring about the system or process that we use to choose our leaders.
I thought John McCain's concession speech was very gracious and of course President Elect Obama's speech was very powerful (as expected... he is such a good speaker! I got chills.). I am glad that all of the campaigning is over, and I hope our leaders can get down to business and deliver on their promises and try to bring about positive change and hopefully economic stimulus, and peace in the Middle East -- God Bless America!"
Have a happy day, fellow Americans......M.E.

I hate typepad right now!
Iam working on a new blog host that will allow me to export here. I am at my wits end. It makes blogging such a miserablee experience these days.
I am hoping it will all work out soon and I can be a happy blogger again. In the mean time I added two photo albums to the side bar. My Ohio pictures. I'll add apple picking as soon as I can.

You must have really missed me this time. I've been gone so long. I think this is the longest ever I have neglected my poor blog. Thank you, to all of you that never give up on me and keep coming back here everyday to check in. Lately I don't deserve your loyalty..But I appreciate it none the less. I have so much to catch you up on I don't know where to start.
Steph and I had a great time in Ohio. She was the most beautiful Bridesmaid I have laid my eyes on. I can tell you that. But let me back track a just a few days for starters first and then I'll fill you in with all the wedding and stuff pictures later on.
I spent the weekend hibernating pretty much. Joey went to Fl and Steph was out and about doing her thing. I did do some scrapbooking out and at home though and I was quite productive I think.
I finally finished a little hybrid album I started back in Feb with my pictures from my 40th birthday spa weekend at Eastover with Judi. And Yes Judi I will make you one to hehehe.
Here is all done. The Kit is by Corina Nielsen...One of my favorites of her hybrid stuff
Also in the news.....ALEX is here!!!! He is working for Delta now and flies for free so he decided to take a spontaneous trip to Boston for a few days. Joey made pizza last night. Justin and Gabby came over. So when Steph got home we had a family reunion. The five of us (plus Gabby) together for the first time since Christmas.
Joey and his Boys....
Look at these blue eyed babies.....
Justin and Gabby came back over today when I got home from work and Steph got home from school so we headed out for some early dinner before Steph had to go to practice.
And then My MIL (Edie) stopped by with her latest transport.....
It's a Challenger R/T with a Hemi...whatever all that means hehehe.....
So that's all for now, I'll be back soon with tons of stuff ...really....
